Event Details

The Festival launches with Storyfire, two days of Fringe-style community-based storytelling in venues throughout the city.

No More S#%&!: Operation Soap Revisited tells stories of the 1981 Bathhouse Raids, a seminal moment in queer history in Toronto and in Canada. Based on the lives of the men involved in the 1981 Bathhouse raids, it makes use of archival material and original research and considers whose stories are being told and how we might re-envision Toronto’s LGBT history. A Myseum Intersections event. Featuring Jeffrey Canton, Rico Rodriguez, Marcus Peterson.
