Carol Leigh Wehking did not enjoy history classes in school. The chronology of wars and conquests is not a topic near to her heart. But as a storyteller, she loves to make eras of “ago” come alive through character and narrative. She also tells folktales and other stories. She has been a performer since 1968, and a professional storyteller since 1992. She has directed and co-directed festivals in Hamilton, Burlington, and Toronto, toured twice for the CCBC Book Week, and also presents storytelling as Artistic Director of FRESH Stories in Cambridge. ref=bookmarks
