The festival is sorry to announce that this gathering has been cancelled. Sharon Shorty fell ill and is unable to travel.  We send her good thoughts and healing stories.  Please catch Metis storyteller Ron Evans at other programs throughout the festival, including a free storytelling at the Artscape Wychwood Barns on Saturday, March 24, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Denise Booth McLeod, from the First Nations comedy troupe Manifest Destiny’s Child, will be doing a lunch-hour storytalk on the use of humour as commentary on contemporary Indigenous life.
