Donald Smith

Donald Smith is a lifelong storyteller, and founder of both the Scottish Storytelling Centre in Edinburgh, and the Scottish International Storytelling Festival. As a teller he ‘casts his anchor’ in the Scottish and Irish traditions in which he was nurtured but also believes in creative exchange between cultures and traditions. While celebrating the art of storytelling he also emphasizes living connection with place and social environment, the need to engage with all ages, and always to entertain. Storytelling is above all the art of humanity.
