Heather Whaley

Heather Whaley is known for weaving and interspersing song, spoken word, rhyme, and chant with traditional and original stories, and for her passion in finding stories behind traditional ballads, folk roots, blues, and jazz tunes. A consummate performer, Heather thrives on reeling her audiences in to sing, participate and simply “be with” her in the storytelling moment and to enjoy a warm and friendly atmosphere. She writes and tells tales that are sprinkled with humour and that often tie into history. Today she takes us back a few years to the good old days of summer!
